The Clock is Ticking on The Vape Shipping Ban!

The new Vape Mail Ban was signed into law and will affect and impact the vaping cigarette industry with PACT ACT BILL S 1253. USPS is restricted from shipping and delivering vape products by mail to customers which include disposable e-cigarettes. The PACT ACT (Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking Act) added all Vaping products to their list of restrictions.

UPS & FedEx recently announced that they too will join the vape shipping ban and will no longer be delivering vape products via their mail service. Smaller shipping companies are costly and the price of vape products and e-cigarettes as well as tobacco products will significantly increase. As of March 26th, all packages must have an Adult Signature which will mean your shipping prices will increase. We will continue shipping to most states until sometime in April. Shipping to some states might not be possible. We will not be able to ship to PO BOXES and Military APO addresses after March 26th. We recommend shipping orders to your workplace or to an address where somebody is 21 years of age is able to sign for the package. All vape stores MUST implement an age-checking system and use compliant age verification software which is already in place.

Steps Taken

The Smoke Plug has already implemented steps to adjust to the new vaping law. No kids under 21 years of age may purchase from our store. When you check out you will need to be age verified by approved software before we will ship out your order. All orders shipped after 26 March will have to have an adult signature of age of 21 years of age, which will impact your shipping cost a little. The extra shipping cost will be adjusted accordingly. We have already put in place and are in contact with some new private carriers to deliver our packages when USPS, FEDEX and UPS stop shipping out packages by 4-26-21. We do not have an exact date when this will take effect but it's around 4-26-2021.
